The Brand

Since they began in 2013, multiuse skincare brand Dr.PAWPAW has grown massively in both revenue and headcount. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Johnny and Pauline, they now employ 15 people and turnover £3.8m from an initial investment of just £20k.

Launching with their multi-use balm, they have expanded their product range into hair, body and lip tint categories, targeted at consumers of all ages and backgrounds. Dr.PAWPAW original balm can be used for everything from lips, to feet, and insect bites as well as relieving eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. They are now widely distributed globally and have won numerous beauty and business awards.

All tubes are 100% recyclable, and Dr.PAWPAW ensures all ingredients are ethically and sustainably sourced, cruelty-free and all products are PETA approved. This is a brand that prioritises integrity over profit and believes in sharing its success to bring goodness to the world by supporting UK national and international charities.

 

The Role

As Business Development Manager you will be tasked to grow the existing business as well as secure new retailers in the UK and Internationally. Depending on experience the successful candidate will be given a portfolio of customers across online, high street, grocery, and international channels. Reporting to the Sales Director you will also work alongside the company’s marketing team to ensure accounts follow the company's NPD and sales drives.

Although this is an office-based position, you will regularly visit clients across the UK and internationally, as well as attend a number of trade shows globally such as Cosmoprof and ECRM.

 

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have experience managing and securing new business with national and/or international accounts within the beauty industry. It is important that you have a passion for ethical beauty and the Dr.PAWPAW brand, as well as a love for sales.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and determined individual with a personable and outgoing personality. No one day is the same, therefore the ability to adapt quickly and work cross-functionally across the whole team is important.
